Mute live and monitor audio at the same time

I'm handling audio for a small church where we have a few inputs coming into a mixer but two other inputs that come directly in. Used to be that I'd click the speaker icon and it would mute (or enable) both live and monitor audio but now they're separate, meaning I may think that e.g. the rector mic is on because I can hear it but it's not going out to the live stream. How can I have both live and monitor be muted with one click?

This is on 32.1.2 on a Windows 11 system.

After some messing around I installed the Audio Monitor plugin, added the filter to all audio sources, and then turned off monitor on the Audio Mixer Dock.

Welp that didn't work because the filter happens before mute. Anyone have other ideas?

You should download the script from this post and add it to your OBS scripts:

OBS Lua - Automatically Mute Audio Monitoring When a Source Is Muted - Updates

You can select the sources you want to take this effect on the Scripts page. I just tried it and it works perfectly.
I had to manually install Python 3.12 for it to work since the latest Python doesn't work for OBS yet.

Thanks. It doesn't work for me but I followed up on the plugin page. Hope I can figure out what I'm doign wrong.
